Position: Travel Front of House Staff
About the Role:
Sharp Spoon Network is expanding our team to include professional Front of House staff who can deliver exceptional guest experiences across diverse venues and events. We're seeking polished, personable hospitality professionals ready to represent our clients with professionalism and warmth wherever service is needed.
What You'll Do:
- Greet and welcome guests with friendly, professional service
- Provide attentive table service, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables
- Explain menu items, answer questions, and make recommendations as needed
- Set up dining areas, including table arrangements, linens, and place settings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining spaces throughout service
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Handle guest requests and resolve concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Process payments and manage cash or credit transactions accurately
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including furniture, décor, and service stations
- Adapt to various service styles, including plated dinners, buffets, cocktail receptions, and more
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food service
- Represent the Sharp Spoon Network and our clients with professionalism at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in restaurant, catering, or event service roles
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during high-volume service
- Professional appearance and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or service items
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and adaptability
- Willingness to travel regularly for assignments across multiple locations
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license required
Preferred:
- Experience with upscale dining or private events
- Knowledge of wine and beverage service
- Food handler's or alcohol service certification
